Application and Functions
LCS 420 Pro On-Off Level Control System, Pro Level Controller LC 420, together with Level Sensor LP 400, works according to the conductivity measurement principle and can be used for level control in steam boilers and tanks.
With the control between two level points, the pump is turned on and off and the water level is kept at the desired level. In addition, low and high level alarms can be received.
Level alarms can be checked at certain time intervals with the Alarm Test function to check whether the system safety chain is working or not. When the boiler water decreases from the set levels and a low alarm occurs and the system safety chain is activated, the Alarm Reset function can be used to restart the boiler feed water pump. The pump and burner can be restarted by resetting the boiler operator from the control device. It provides advanced security with the Alarm Test and Alarm Reset functions.
LP 400 Level Sensor can be used for 4 different functions:
• Pump On – Open Valve
• Pump Off – Close Valve
• 1st Alarm (Low or High)
• 2nd Alarm (Low or High)
