LPA 420 SMART MODULATING LEVEL PROBE (4 – 20 mA)

Application and Functions

The LPA 420 preamplifier is a level sensor that provides 4-20 mA output when used with the LP 500 capacitance probe. The level sensor works according to the capacitance measurement principle and  converts level changes into a 4-20 mA current signal depending on the level.

LPA 420 Proportional Level Sensor provides a proportional 4-20 mA level output for level controller (e.g. LC 540 or LC 525) or to operate a frequency-controlled pump with PLC.

The proportional level controller (e.g. LC 540 or LC 525) also provides a suitable signal output to the feed water control valve to control the level in steam boilers.
